The cost tonight is $10. \u00a0That includes getting to see the Sacramento Symphonic Winds. \u00a0It’s going to be a fantastic show.<\/p>\n
Saturday afternoon, I’ll be playing with River City Swing. \u00a0This performance is open to the public (which I take to mean “free”).<\/p>\n

Saturday evening, I’ll be playing with the ACB Convention band, at 8:00PM. \u00a0I don’t know if it is open to the public, or just to convention members.<\/p>\n

Crazy, huh?<\/p>\n
This week is full of wonderful music, opportunities to meet and play with some skilled\u00a0musicians, and really lose myself in the art.<\/p>\n
The only problem is time. \u00a0How am I going to manage my job, the volunteer hours at the convention, and the convention band practices?<\/p>\n
Fortunately, my workplace is awesome. \u00a0They let me work a 10 hour day on Monday, an 11 hour day on Tuesday, and another 10 hour day Wednesday. \u00a0I can do half days on Thursday and Friday, which will allow me to make it to the practices.<\/p>\n
Thursday and Friday evenings, I’m filling some stage crew volunteer slots. \u00a0I’m also doing stage crew duty on Saturday, from 1:30 to 5:00.<\/p>\n
I’m not going to have time do\u00a0any writing or editing this week. \u00a0I don’t really feel bad about it. \u00a0There are only so many hours in a day, and this week, they’ve all been claimed. \u00a0I’ll just have to write twice as much next week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
